The Illuminated Self Retreat is a 3 day, 2 night Women's Retreat to help you reset and restore your energy, learn how to tend to and maintain your light so you can sustain it and shine out into the world.

Pause, take a breath, and imagine
yourself living from the inside out. You are tuned into and guided by your inner light, which is shining brightly. You feel full of vitality and are able to shine your light out onto others.
However, currently, you find yourself stuck in a cycle of burn out and exhaustion. You have so much on your to do list that it feels like it is running you. You find that even in your “free time”, you are not taking quality rest and care of yourself to charge your energy/light back up.
You need a change and to make it worse, you’re critical on yourself for not having it all figured out. You desire to not feel ruled by external expectations, but rather by your inner guidance and what lights you up.
You imagine having practices and routines that keep that light going and a sense of passion and fulfillment back in your life. You want to be the best version of yourself so you can shine that light out in your relationships, community and the world.
I get it! because I found myself there too
Women are taught, consciously and unconsciously, that we are meant to care for others. Stay small, meet other people’s needs and everything will be okay. And busy is a badge of honor.
This also means that choosing to take up space, align with and express our authentic selves, and take care of ourselves first (or even at all) is selfish.
I was there too: careful not to take up space, not to rock the boat. I was hiding much of my authentic self and it was all so exhausting.
I know transformation is possible. I am honored to get to help women find the tools to unlock their energy and empowerment; to discover a life that is aligned with the belief that they matter and can take up space as their authentic selves.
When you can acknowledge and name what is no longer working, you can make peace with letting it go. Letting go of comfortable patterns and starting new ones is always uncomfortable AND worthwhile.
That is why I value making these shifts in community, in groups. When you are surrounded by other people who are doing the work and making changes, you feel supported on your path.

Your time at the Illuminated Self Retreat:
While you are at the Illuminated Self Retreat, you will rest and recharge in the beauty of nature, surrounded by majestic mountains. You can relax by indoor fireplace, outdoor bon fire or hot-tub. You will connect to your inner light with the relaxing experience the retreat space has to offer.
You will charge your energy with a peaceful pause away from it all, as well as getting energy moving through the body on group or solo hikes on the beautiful property.
Your itinerary is completely covered so you won't need to plan a thing, and all offerings are completely optional so you can start to tune into your inner guidance to assess where you choose to put your energy and attention
You will have an opportunity to attend educational and meditative workshops (lead by the owner of Illuminated Life, Cathy Blake, M.A. )
You will be guided through exploring, identifying and releasing old stories and blocks that have kept you in unhelpful cycles of exhaustion.
You will learn new, more effective ways to show up: caring for yourself through your relationship to self and relationship to self-care. This new way of being will help maintain your light, which you can shine out onto others.
Illuminated Life is thrilled to partner with special guest facilitator, Dr. Christina Jensen, owner of Brightside Integrative Physical Therapy. Dr. Cristina will provide educational and meditative workshops on the mind, body connection and offer solutions on how to tend to our physical well-being to maintain homeostasis.
A Group Video call will be offered following the retreat to check-in with your journey post-retreat.
Meet Your Host, Cathy Blake
I have always had a curiosity for personal expansion. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am a Transformational Coach.
I started Illuminated Life to support women in the journey of personal expansion, through meaningful group work paired with the beauty, and serenity of nature. I am a big believer in Divine timing and that we receive the medicine that we need, when we need it. You are right where you need to be. I cannot wait to connect with you on this point in your journey!
Meet our Special Guest, Dr. Christina Jenson
Dr. Christina is the founder and owner of Brightside Integrative Physical Therapy. She is a physical therapist as well as a philosopher, a teacher, and a passionate student of the human body at all levels of expression. Dr. Christina believes that wellness is a practice and movement is medicine.
The price range is $900-$1,300, depending on whether you choose a shared or private room, bed size, and room layout
